CAPTIVE SLOTH

Sloths are hunted mainly for food, but sometimes, they are captured for sale as pets. Unfortunately, a captive sloth does not survive long, as they require a highly specialized diet of particular leaves from a few tree species, and are susceptible to the stress of captivity.
