TREE FERN

Tree ferns are relics of ancient Earth, dating back to the time of the dinosaurs—before flowering plants existed. They are "living fossils." You can see how tall they grow from the photo (sorry it's not very clear). They have a tree-like trunk and fronds of fern leaves growing from the top.
