COFFEE PLANT

When people think of coffee, Malawi isn't the first country to spring to mind. In fact most of us don't realize that Africa is the home of coffee. This plant was photographed on a plantation just outside Mzuzu in northern Malawi. The greenish hue of the beans indicates they are not ripe yet.
