PEOPLE AT PLAY

Aside from the safari, most of us would be hard pressed to describe a leisure activity common in Africa. But for visitors, there's plenty to do! Africans on the other hand, don't do much in the way of game viewing, but they do know how to have fun! Most native Africans do not have television, so they find other ways to occupy their spare time. The men like to sit around playing chisolo (or bao, also called mancala) and drinking millet beer (called chibuku). Women gather around and tell stories or dance to music.
